TRITON Swimming
Team Suit Policy
The TRITON Swimming team uniform is a black
SPEEDO Brand suit, ideally with the
TRITON Logo affixed to the front. A regular Lycra
black TRITON Swimming suit is appropriate and
either in brief cut or jammer for the boys is fine. This is the team suit ……

When the Oakland Raiders take the field to
clobber their opponent, most of the time always, they do so in
their characteristic Black and Silver. Every player straps on a
silver helmet and together as a team. They take the gridiron
prepared to do battle.It is highly unlikely that any day soon the
Raiders players will come to the field wearing something other than
the uniform of the day. Imagine their Quarterback Rich Gannon
taking the snap from the center who is wearing a ballet tutu. It
won’t happen – EVER!
The FASTSKIN "body suit"
by Speedo is not appropriate for age group competition and in fact
suits below the knees or beyond the shoulder are not allowed by
TRITON Swimming. The FASTSKIN suit was developed for the
"elite" level of competition and with it comes any warnings for its
use. It has been determined the suit should be worn sparingly and
in competition put on just before racing so as to keep it dry. The
suit should then be taken off immediately to be dried.
Everyone is asked to comply with the
TEAM EFFORT to compete in age group and
non-championship competitions with the appropriate TEAM
SUIT.
Everyone is also urged to always wear
TRITON Team Apparel (t-shirts, sweats, parkas).
