Senior 2: The Senior II swimmers had their own jam session at the FAST Summer Jam. The seven swimmers representing the group rocked out with 87.75% best times. Everyone looked good, swam great and had a lot of fun.

Eli Mayes – 13-14 State Cut in the 400 IM

Grace Dicken – 13-14 State Cut in the 50 Freestyle

Ella Reif – Open State Cut in the 200 Butterfly


Swimmer of the Meet for Senior II:

Karter Graves – Every time Karter got on the blocks, he swam a best time. When he went a best time in prelims, he turned around and swam faster at finals. Karter earned 13-14 State Cuts in the 400 IM, 400 Freestyle, 1500 (and 800) Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, 50 Freestyle, and the 200 IM. Karter has been a lot more focused on training harder and smarter and it surely showed at the meet. Keep up the great work, Karter!


Senior 3: Senior III had a great meet over the weekend. Out of the 29 total swims by the six swimmers representing the group we had 75.86% best times. The meet was a lot of fun watching all of these time drops.

the 100 Breaststroke and 50 Freestyle

Swimmer of the Meet for Senior III:

Alex Roy – Alex went 6 for 6 best times. Earned National Motivational “BB” times in the 200 Backstroke, 50 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, and the 200 Freestyle. Alex has been working hard at practice and coming to practice more often. It’s always great to see the hard work pay off! Great job, Alex.


AGP: Amelia Jackson was the only AGP swimmer to swim at both Fishers and Nashville. She dropped time in her 50 Free at Fishers and in Nashville. She swam the 200 Back in Nashville for the first time and the 200 Breast for the first time at the Fishers meet. She made finals in the 200 Breast and dropped 4 seconds! Great swimming Amelia! Keep working hard.

Gold: The first prelim final meet of the season and it went well. Although I was not there, I had a few parents text me about how much fun the meet was and how happy they were with the kids racing! I was happy to see that there were a ton of best times; and two more state cuts made! I look forward to more fast swimming this weekend!


We had 13 Swimmers do 76 events with 53 BEST TIMES (70%).

Silver: What a great weekend the 10 silver swimmers did! We had 3 swimmers achieve new state cuts for the long course season. Henry Dicken got his first ever state cut in the 100 fly. He went a 2:06.61 and this was his first ever time swimming the 100 fly long course! Claire Liu achieved her state cut also in 100 fly going 1:47.11 dropping 9.21 seconds off her best time! Edison Hu swam only on Sunday and he got his 100 back dropping 3.19 and going 1:41.22.

2 silver swimmers got high point award in the girls 8 under division. Charley Dicken finished 3rd place overall! Claire Liu brought home High Point winner overall!

This group is doing great and they are training hard during practice. I can’t wait to see what else we have in store for the rest of the season which ends right around the corner!
