SOPHIE CATTERMOLE GRAHAM

SENIOR 2 COACH

ASSISTANT SENIOR 1 AND NATIONAL COACH

London, England native Sophie Graham (formerly Cattermole) moved to Englewood, Florida when she was just seven years old. She began her swimming career at the age of 8 for the Sarasota Sharks. Sophie swam for Lemon Bay High School where she was a three-time Florida state champion. In 2015, Sophie committed to swim for The University of Louisville Cardinals.

Sophie’s swimming career as a Cardinal started with a minor setback due to a fractured back injury that required surgery. Though, after sitting out her freshman year, Sophie fought back and swam four more years where she was a four-time NCAA All-American, four-time NCAA qualifier, ACC runner up & NCAA finalist in the 500 freestyle, ACC & NCAA medalist in the 800 freestyle relay, and six-time record holder (1000yd freestyle, 1650yd freestyle, 800yd freestyle relay, 400m freestyle, 800m freestyle, and 1500m freestyle). During her five years at the University of Louisville, Sophie attained both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Sports Administration with a minor in Marketing.

After graduating from UofL in May 2020, Sophie went on to teach at Blairwood's SwimAmerica program where she quickly became one of the best instructors in the program. Sophie joins Casey Fanz as another Cardinal standout to pick TRITON as their team of choice.
