Triton coaches are committed to every swimmer's success.
We believe that swimmers are only able to reach their full potential in a positive and supportive environment. Therefore, we work hard to maintain a healthy balance between hard work and fun. We make a point to meet with every swimmer individually to help identify their personal goals and build a plan that works for them.
SCOTT PAULSON
Head Coach
SENIOR 2 LEAD COACH
Scott has coached with Triton since 2000. He has served as Kentucky Swimming Age Group Vice Chair, Head Coach and Assistant Coach of several Zones and All-Star Teams, voted Kentucky Swimming's Age Group Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2001 as well as Senior Coach of the Year in 2009. Scott has developed student-athletes who compete on all levels in the NCAA and helped build swimmers to compete at USA Swimming Sectional, Junior National, National, and Olympic Trial Championships.
LESLIE selden
SENIOR 1 LEAD COACH
Leslie has been a coach at Triton Swimming since 2013 and has helped many swimmers achieve state, zone, national, and olympic trial qualifying times. Leslie has a B.A. in Biology and a M.A.T. in Physical Education Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville. She is an ASCA-certified swim coach, personal trainer, and a competitive cyclist and triathlete.
JACK GRIGSBY
SILVER LEAD COACH
SKILL DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEAD COACH
Jack has coached Triton swimmers since 2012, leading many swimmers to become State Champions. Jack currently serves as Head Coach for both the Kentucky Zone team and All Star team. Jack holds a degree in Communications from the University of Louisville.
Michael Casper
AGE GROUP PERFORMANCE LEAD COACH
Coach Michael joins Triton after serving 5 years as the head coach of the Northeast YMCA Tsunami Swim Club. He led the team to become the first YMCA in Louisville to join National YMCA Swimming and Diving. A Louisville native, he swam for Lakeside and St. Xavier High School.
